Will Bain Be Romney’s Bane?
Tad appeared on Andrea Mitchell Reports alongside GOP strategist John Feehery to discuss the Obama campaign’s recent ads that tie Mitt Romney’s role as CEO of Bain Capital to plant closings and job losses.
The spots are reminiscent of a series of ads produced by Tad and his former business partner Bob Shrum on behalf of Ted Kennedy’s campaign for Senate in 1994.
Tad asserted that this story of job destruction at the hands of Bain Capital is “just as powerful today as it was then” and that Romney’s job creation claims “can’t survive more than the back of an envelope inquiry”.
